Excellent coffee mill! Much quiter than any of my previous 4 mills/grinders. Also works faster and less "burn" taste from grounds. Very concsistent grinding. Also the top lid with the fill slot make pouring into filter easier versus my other mills had the window or slot on the side of the bin. Nice improvement
2 comments that are not issues but to be aware of. As it has an Blue LCD display there is always a blue light on, so for some this could be good and others a nuisance. Also you must keept the bin and slots clean as any slight grounds in the bin area will cause some minor leakage |

I gave this to my boyfriend as a gift and he loves it. You can pick how fine or not fine you want the coffee beens gounded up. Example auto drip, expreso.
You also can pick how much you want to grind, so you don't have to grind alot at once if you don't want too. My boyfriend said works well, makes good coffee, and looks great with matching coffee maker. |
Convenient and effective

| This review will be simple because the grinder is simple. It is easy to take apart and clean, easy to program, and easy to make great coffee. The machine comes with a scoop/brush combo, but it is really only needed for cleaning. No scooping necessary. This is because the CBM-18 makes it so easy. If I know that I have to make 6 cups of coffee, I just program the CBM-18 for 6 cups, remove the collecting bin after it automatically grinds that amount and pour the fresh grounds into my coffee maker... simple. The bottom line is that this grinder makes uniform grounds, it is simple to use and provides for great tasting coffee. |
Very valuable to a coffee lover

| I had my blade grinder for years! Then recently I thought I needed a nice drip coffee maker because my brew wasn't cutting it even made with good french roast beans. then I did a 180 after reading that the GRINDER makes the difference and bought this puppy. I did get to trial the cuisinart burr grinder that sells for around 40 bucks and hated it, messy and not great grinding. So with double discounts and a gift card at Macy's I purchased this for around 50 dollars. And yes people it does make all the difference. For my single yummy cup of joe I boil fresh water in my eletric kettle and freshly grind three cups worth of coffee on number 9 then pour through the mylita single cup brew cone with a paper filter and "stir the coffee slurry" while it drips through. Best cup of coffee. I make coffee using a variety makers: drip, espresso, moka pot, stove top percultor and eletric perk and press pot. The great thing about having this grinder I can now grind for all of these uses at home and get the perfect freshly ground grind I need. Yeah there's a little static but not a big deal to me. Mine came with a three year warranty. |
