This is excellent, but Peggy Lee did the definitive version- to me anyway. I find this particular orchestration a little overpowering, considering the intimate lyrics.
@TrutherD1 Not really the time or place… Although I see them everyday, chemtrails got nothing to do with endgame really, NWO and chemtrails have loose affiliation.
Love the comparison with Jessica Rabbit! She oozed sex appeal with that breathy voice – and she didn’t look too bad either. She never rated her own voice, but her use of breath for emphasis and punctuation was sensational.
Total Babe-osity! Wooaah… Julie was such a prime babe back in the 50s and early 60s; the perfect Film Noir speakeasy torch singer! I kinda wonder if she wasn’t the “prototype” for Jessica Rabbit in Who Framed Roger Rabbit? In fact she was such a tough broad that she was even married for a time to non other than Mr. “Dummm Dee Dum Dum” (Dragnet) himself, Jack Webb. Jack, true to life, was such a tough-ass though, he smacked her around so much that she filed for divorce after a few years.
hot dame
smooth sexy sultry groove
sexy music and very nice photo of Julie London..

I remeber Julie in a sultry golden dress, smoking a cigarette… LOVE GODESS!!! We miss you, Julie!
This is OK but Peggy Lee’s got the best sultry voice and makes songs her own.
All the men is going to drink some black coffee now. Julie, sex goddess.

I often wonder what Demi Moore could have done with a singing career. She has the same husky voice, as did Patricia Neal.
Loved it
Perhaps the best version of this song. Peggy Lee’s good, but this one… Wow.
Utimate babe
Truther, crazy people with unconnected rants are no less inappropriate or annoying than spam advertisements.

That lady had such a husky musky voice. Very sensual, sexy & elegant and the same time.
What a great arrangement.
